      Wake Forest Woman's Club
      The day began with rain, but it did not dampen the excitement and enthusiasm of the crowd of 250 participants. The runners and walkers consisted of young children as well as the more seasoned individuals. Everyone seemed happy to be there to participate in the Tunnel to Towers 5K Race and Walk in support of First Responders. The participants assembled in front of the Wake Forest American Legion Post. "Our cheering presence at the finish line, handing out oranges, showed our support for their commitment.
